I have a 5 mos. old grandson whose mom has requested a cable knit hat for christmas. I want to knit on circular needles and make sure it fits snuggly for warmth. I want to use Debbie Bliss’s cashmerino Do you think this pattern will fit? I like your sister twister pattern also. I wasnt sure about sizing.

You can do a swatch to gauge, I haven’t used that yarn so I’m not sure how it will work with the pattern. All of the twister patterns are similar so they can be somewhat interchangeable.

Hi, thank you for sharing this easy pattern. I found both the cables and the shaping really easy to understand (I’m not a very experienced knitter) and wanted to let you know the hat has turned out really well. Cheers!

I’m glad you like my pattern! Thank you for the feedback.
